Super-deluxe Inverted Christmas Tree


一棵巨型的倒置圣诞树装点法国老佛爷百货公司,极致奢侈的圣诞树饰品与老佛爷百货浑然天成。

A big inverted Christmas tree are decorating the Galeries Lafayette. The super-deluxe decoration on the Christmas Tree has become the parts of Galeries Lafayette.


手绘头盖骨展装点“亡灵节”

Freehand-sketching Skulls Decorates Day of the Dead


一场特别的手绘彩色头盖骨展于保加利亚瓦尔纳展出,该展览受到墨西哥文化的影响,希望以此展览庆祝墨西哥的“亡灵节”。彩色手绘搭配头盖骨,使原本恐怖的元素变身为更具艺术感的节庆纪念。

A special freehand-sketch skulls exhibition is held in Varna, Bulgaria. The exhibition is affected by Mexican culture and hopes to celebrate Mexican Day of the Dead. The colorful freehand sketch with skulls makes the horrific elements become festivals’ souvenir.


克里斯蒂拍卖行预展“银背大猩猩”

Christie Auction Company Pre-exhibits “Silverback Gorilla”


克里斯蒂拍卖行以“万物生灵”为主题的拍卖预展展出各种源于动物灵感的艺术作品。其中,由David Mach设计,并曾获得过特纳奖提名的“银背大猩猩”得到诸多瞩目。此次展出的“银背大猩猩”作品高达2米,为该作品的第三版。

Christie Auction company pre-exhibits some art works rooted from animal themed as “All Creatures”. In this exhibition, the silverback gorilla created by David Mach and once nominated by Turner Prize got many attention. The silverback gorilla in this exhibition is 2 m high which the third generation of this work.


千只纸质熊猫亮相吉隆坡

1600 Paper Pandas showed in Kuala Pumpur


由法国艺术家Paulo Grangeon 打造的1600只纸质熊猫正在进行全球巡回展出。近期该巡展亮相马来西亚吉隆坡的苏丹阿都沙末大厦前的广场。而该广场也成为吉隆坡的“拍照圣地”。

The 1600 paper pandas created by French artist Paulo Grangeon are on its world showing tour. Recently this show came to the square in the front of Sultan Abdul Samad Building in Kuala Pumlur, Malaysia. And this square also becomes the best place to photographs in Kuala Pumlur.

Paul Chan Won the Hugo Boss Art Award


2014年“HUGO BOSS 艺术大奖”颁奖典礼于纽约古根海姆博物馆盛大召开,Paul Chan成为大奖得主。Paul Chan涉及各种艺术实践创作,包括纪录片、动画、素描、概念自体、GIFS及以社区为基础的表演项目。

Award ceremony of 2014 Hugo Boss Art Award was held in New York Guggenheim Museum. Paul Chan won the award .Paul Chan practiced different art creation, including documentary films, cartoon, sketch, concept autologous, GIFS and some demonstration events based on communities.


口香糖艺术墙成另类景点

Gum Art Wall Became the Special Scenery


摄影师David Fulmer拍摄下位于西雅图的另类艺术墙——口香糖墙。90年代初,它原是一家电影院的外墙,有人因排队买票无聊而将口香糖黏在墙上。2002年开始,这面墙成为西雅图的一个景点,每个人都可以在这面墙上黏上属于他们的口香糖。不过,混合各种口味的口香糖所形成的“怪味”及另类的整体面貌,也使这面墙被戏称为“最恶心的艺术墙”。

Photographer David Fulmer took some pictures of Seattle’s Strange art wall-Gum Wall. In the beginning of 1990s, it was the outer wall of a cinema. Someone stuck the chewed the gum on the wall because it was quite boring standing in the queue for tickets. Starting from 2002, this wall became a scenery of Seattle and everyone can join the art creation for this wall. But the wall is also called the most disgusting art wall because of the weird smell mixed by different gums with different tastes.


“巨人”点缀万圣节庆典

Titan Breaks through the Soil to Celebrate the Hallowmas


匈牙利布达佩斯的赛切尼广场上,一个凶狠无比的“巨人”破土而出。该作品由45岁的艺术家Ervin Herve Loranths 借助聚苯乙烯打造而成,它亦是2014年布达佩斯国际当代艺术展的展品之一。布达佩斯国际当代艺术展是专为展示当代中东欧艺术家作品而特别设立的艺术盛会。

On the Szechenyi square of Budapest, Hungary, a cruel titan breaks through the soil. The work is created by 45-year-old artist Ervin Herve Loranths to use polystyrene. It is also one of the exhibited works on 2014 Budapest International Contemporary Art Show. Budapest International Contemporary Art Show is specially set for exhibit central and eastern European contemporary artists’ works.
